Finance & Administration

The department provides essential support services for effective delivery of the core business of the Institute. It is headed by Finance and Administration Deputy Director, Mr.Cornelly Serem.

The department has two (2) divisions under it; finance (headed by Ms. Floice Mukabana) and human resource & administration (Mr. Jairus Ombui). 

Human Resources and Administration Division is responsible for creation of conducive environment that ensures optimum staff performance among other administrative functions. 

KIRDI has high caliber personnel consisting of engineers, food scientists, chemists, environment scientists, Economists, Ceramics Experts, Information experts, Laboratory technologists and Engineering technicians. On the other hand,Finance Division's role include, cash administration, monitoring and control of expenditures, funds mobilization among others.
