KIRDI has established strong linkages and works in collaboration with several national, regional and international organisations and agencies.  At the international level, linkages have been set up with UNIDO, UNDP, WAITRO. Regionally, the Institute works with ARCT, ARCEDEM, TIRDO, and CSIR. 

 

Within Kenya, the Institute has signed Memoranda of Understanding (MOU) with two universities, namely: Kenyatta University and Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture & Technology.  These MOUs establish a framework of partnership between KIRDI and the other parties.  Some of the areas of co-operation include joint research, training, exchange of information, sharing of research facilities and sharing of professional expertise.
